Job Description

We are building a tech-enabled platform to seed and develop more nature-based carbon projects by an order of magnitude, delivering significant GHG-positive outcomes and co-benefits in the long run. As a part of the platform, we are building products to solve various needs along the project development lifecycle, uniting multiple stakeholders to bring forth high-quality nature-based carbon projects in a scalable manner.

๐Ÿš Position Overview

As the first person in the marketing function at Thryve.Earth, you will be leading and be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end diagnosis, strategy, and tactics for our multi-channel business and product marketing efforts. As we increase our market presence, this is a vital role to ensure our diverse mix of stakeholders are clear on the value of what we do and offer to deliver on improved and optimized awareness, engagement, and conversion.

You will have the unique opportunity to collaborate directly with the co-founders, and a host of functional leaders in the organization. This will be an individual contributor role. As we grow, there will be opportunities for role expansion and progression.

๐Ÿ“ Responsibilities

  1. Strategic planning and objective setting
    • Diagnose the challenges and opportunities in our marketing funnel and set relevant annual and quarterly objectives.
    • Lead the development and implementation of strategic marketing plans designed to deliver on the objectives, adapting where and when necessary to evolving market conditions.
  2. Market analysis, customer insights, and product differentiation
    • Conduct comprehensive market analysis, including competitive intelligence and customer research, to identify emerging trends and opportunities for product differentiation
    • Translate customer insights into actionable strategies, guiding product development priorities and informing marketing messaging and positioning
  3. Campaign planning, execution, and performance management
    • Oversee the end-to-end planning, execution, and optimization of multi-channel marketing campaigns, driving awareness, engagement, and conversion for the product.
    • Monitor campaign performance metrics closely, conducting in-depth analysis to identify optimization opportunities and increasing return on investment. This will include monthly reporting to founders and other functional leads.
    • Ensure the right measurement tools are in place for ongoing product and brand assessment.
  4. Sales support and enablement
    • Create and manage high-impact sales enablement materials that shorten sales cycles and increase conversion rates for enterprise customers.
  5. Brand management
    • Be the leading brand ambassador for Thryve, with a deep understanding of our value proposition, creating stories that inspire and invite customers to echo and amplify our narrative to the right stakeholders.
    • Be a steward of Thryve’s brand, upholding consistency and integrity across all marketing materials and across the organization.

๐ŸŽ“ Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in a product marketing role, with a proven track record of driving growth in a similar product category
  • Confident in various marketing aspects, including brand marketing, PR, content management, digital marketing, and performance marketing
  • Prior experience in launching new products or new markets is a strong plus.
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content that resonates with the audience.
  • Ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking skills to drive innovative marketing strategies
  • Creative thinker with a proven ability to conceptualize innovative ideas and solutions.
  • Organized and self-disciplined, with the ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and Canva for design work
  • Strong passion for nature
